The Blue Cross Hospital Pet Fostering Scheme

The Blue Cross Animal Hospital in Grimsby is looking for volunteers to help run its new pet fostering scheme.

There is a signifcant welfare problem in the North East and in areas where there aren't adoption centres, pets need to be supported in foster homes while they are waiting to be matched to suitable homes for adoption.

Shona is urging anyone that would be interested in working alongside staff at the Blue Cross to give a temporary home to a pet in need to get in touch and find out more about the scheme.
